How much does it cost to fire a kiln?

I completely understand that it depends on the kiln and the fuel. I'm thinking of a medium size toploading kiln running off a 13 amp plug and firing ceramics probably to 1200 degrees in a home studio.

Just a vague idea so I don't drain the national grid and end up supporting the British economy by paying for it.
