A friend of mine has a painting by the above which appear to be an oil painting of two chldren on a log type seesaw outside a white country cottage. The back of the frame is marked Higgins and Bowers and is held in place by bent over nails. I have seen elsewhere that some items like this are a bit suspect. Can anyone shed any light on this item please??
