yes but what program/ application etc is on it I can use?
Well you could go the easy way and use iWeb. Not a bad little application, for simple websites when you don't know much about them.

Or you could write all the client-side and server-side stuff yourself, ideally using Macvim or Emacs or TextMate.

The Mac comes with vim and emacs in terminal mode.
gravy! use note pad and write the html/javascript ??
time consuming though.

best of all use Dreamweaver!or frontpage all precoded.
