story about a mermaid - anyone recognise this?

A funny children's story that involved a boy who caught a mermaid, and his uncle (?) fell in love with her, as did another relation - the ony problem was the other relation was a fishmonger and only wanted to fillet her (honest!)

Any ideas what this is?
