Just a general query. My son has just turned 16 & is going to have a long break after doing his GCSEs. He is a very athletic, fit & good looking (even though I say it myself?) lad. He plays a lot of Sports & football to quite a high standard. He is very bright & is constantly in the top 3 of his class at the local Grammar School (though its a big big struggle financially for us to send him there). What is the best place for him to find a summer job? His only experience of 'work' was selling programmes at his local Div 2 Football club. If not a summer job, then work experience - where do I start looking? We cant afford a holiday so he needs to ean some money. He's bright but lacking a little in social skills!
Thanks for any ideas..

I have a daughter just completing her exams so she is in the same 'boat' as your son (she is wanting a summer job before college in sept )
Suggestions...paper round not well paid but will keep him fit..
local shops for weekend work, sports shops ??
he could try your local connextions office who may be able to help
could you pay him to do some chores LOL
You could try your local gym's to see if they require part time summer staff.
