Has anybody read 'Looking for Mr. Goodbar' by Judith Rossner, published circa. 1970s? It's my favourite film and I'm still waiting anxiously for my Amazon delivery of it; Is it worth the wait?

wow, that's going back a way... but my recollection of it is that the film did stick reasonably close to the book

Great - thanks jno - love the film, and fancied reading the original novel after I found out it was based on a true story. Apparently it was considered quite groundbreaking for it's day, so I'll give it a go.
