Am I right in thinking that ITV made an episode of The Darling Buds of May which involved Pop Larkin almost dying of a heart attack or something similar. It is not on the Complete Collection, but I am sure it was aired at some point in time.

You are right there was an episode in which Pop Larkin had a heart scare. I have no recollection of the name of the episode but i'm sure there is someone out there who does! Good luck.

In the books Pop does actually die of a heart attack but they couldn't kill off TV Pop because we would all have been too upset!
