Old cine film to dvd

I have a cine film circa 1965 that I would like transferred onto a DVD format. Any advice where I can have it done.?

I can recommend http://www.video2cd.co.uk/. He did a great job on mine and he's both knowledgeable and helpful.

i know "Jessops" (the camera shop) convert from video to dvd, cant be certain about cine but would imagine they would have no trouble writing it to dvd for you. gotta be worth a phone call...


Jessops do - they have to put it on to a vieo first the to dvd - it works out quite expensive. We have about 4 -5 reels that we want done and it would cost us about �100 to �150 with them. That is just a 'questiment'. So we are going to have to do some hard saving.
We have a lot cine film and video we wanted converted, after paying over �500 to Jessops we looked around and found www.ontodvd.com the best value. They have now converted 3 sets of cine films for us and my sons old camcorder tapes too and are the best we have come accross.
