I mention an E. H. Corbould in my Ph.D. in the George Eliot chapter. He was comissioned to paint a diptych of the two heroines in 'Adam Bede' by Queen Victoria in 1861, which are now in the palaces private collection. See 'The Art of George Eliot' by W. J. Harvey, (Chatto and Windus, 1969) for those pictures of Dinah Morris and Hetty Sorrel pictures - which are twee, but symbolically sound. Also, maybe the correct spelling of his name may help you in your quest!
