But didn't they report initially that there was no obvious cause of death...seems that they now have found one.

probably me being thick sqad but could you see that the cause of death was a stroke - obviously prior to the autopsy.

I assume that no obvious cause of death means they didn't think there was foul play.

LOL^^^...well, stroke as you and I know it......YES., but the medics have defined a stroke as almost any bleed in the brain, whatever the cause and with symptoms that you nad i would be pushed to identify.

Sqad....perhaps the head injury didn't appear, at first to be that serious ?
I am guessing here that she didn't have a ruddy great dent in the side of her head, as my brother did 2 years ago, when he fell down the stairs.

My Dad died 14 days after falling. He had a stroke but it was pneumonia that finally kicked in the end.

Sqad...indeed, who knows. But its now fairly clear that it wasn't murder or suicide. Her kids can now take their Mum home to be buried.
