One of the bands I always wished I had seen back in the day is Fleetwood Mac. As they are touring this year, I decided to treat Mr O and I to tickets to see them....right up to the minute I saw the ticket prices. The Yorkshire in me came to the fore and I decided that a three figure sum for one ticket was outrageous.
I have just discovered that a Fleetwood Mac tribute band is playing in Whitby in April, and the tickets cost £14. I might even treat him to a bag of chips afterwards.
Morning mauler x
We went to see a tribute band called Green Mac who played all the stuff from the Peter Green days and they were excellent.
Is there no end to your strange tastes? Broon on chips? It has to be salt and malt vinegar and nothing else. Simples!
Morning boaty. Your comment is very true.
BTW if you think I am tight, you should meet Mr O. He is part Yorkshire and part Scottish and at times has very short arms and very long pockets
after thinking about all this money you almost considered spending did you (a) go to have a bit of a rest or (b) get out and search the pavements for the occasional dropped penny? just curious.
Mrs O.... the sauce is a REALLY wierd Edinburgh habit and it's horrid... like HP with half a pint of vinegar in it... vile muck and they droon the chips in it... wierdos...;0)
Fleetwood Mac... hmm would need the originals I think... Stevie Nicks..... mmmm
lady j - there is a corner shop near three local schools and loads of kids use it each day. I don't know what it is with kids these days but they don't want copper and dump their coins outside. There is a fortune to be had for anyone willing to pick it up......so I have heard
