It shouldn't matter to miss it now and then - nice of them to visit.
Are they bringin their horsies and wearing big hats? Will it be black or white hats that they will be wearing?
Bet they'll wear kilts.
Apologies Anne, just realised this is in the serious News topic.

I thought about c/b but may well have got lynched,,,( some of the natives are restless ) LOL,
Three amigos? More like three desperados!
I thought you were about to mention the grotesque spectacle of Lamont, Davidson and Rennie all smiling together on television today - boak.
Question Author
well they are visiting at quite short notice it would appear ?
I would imagine that the appearance of them would guarantee a YES vote.
Question Author
I think they have misjudged their visit so late in the day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, will thy do more harm than good for 'the better together ''campaign ?
They should be in Westminster, much too late to make a difference to the vote now.
Surely PMQ is just a "show" event for the public and almost nothing is ever achieved during PMQ, so why the problem in cancelling it.

All the "work" of parliament goes on behind the scenes that most of the public never see.

Certainly no "work" done during PMQ.
IT's because of those 3 bampots that people will be voting yes in this childish, yet dangerous, referendum. I hope voters see sense at the 11th hour and vote a sensible NO! A NO vote is the only way forward. A yes vote us a gigantic step backwards. We have a general election in a few months time and everything could change. Scotland won't be able to change ... EVER AGAIN!!. A yes vote is final, it's for all eternity. It's soooo very damaging.
jan ..you should come up here with your soap box !
Minty, you know how I feel about this bl***y referendum. Fat Eck wants everyone to live in his twisted idea of a Salmond Utopiastan. Scotland will be so excluded from everything in the world. Fat Eck thinks it will all be wonderful on the 19th and that everything will just automatically fall into it's neat little place.. He hasn't given ANY thought to the 19th Sept. He cares ONLY for the 18th. OMG, It all makes me so unhappy. How can anyone hate Scotland and the Scots so much that they'd be willing to vote yes and sell Scotland down the river of no return.? Quite a few it seems. Shame on them all. This will be more divisive for families and friends than the miners' strike ever was. This rift will NEVER heal.
I agree janbee - a lot of yes voters are doing so to "stick it tae Cameron" which is completely the wrong reason. by all means scots should vote yes if they genuinely believe it's best for their country, not to slight some political has-been who'll be out of power in less than a year.
A comedy remake.
an allusion to these 3 might be nearer the mark...

No anneasquith...this Scotland business is the most important constitutional
crisis that has faced us in Britain for a long, long time. If the three can do some good, then they should go....we won't miss the weekly bunfight for one week !
Obiter SPOT ON .
