Most of the posts concerning the disappearance of the schoolgirl and her maths teacher has painted HIM as the villain and our "slip of a girl" as the innocent one.

However....women have a predilection of choice of their "partners" which is quite inexplicable.....murderers on death row, wife beaters and to top the list what about the woman who came back from holiday with a Massi Warrior on tow.(bobbing up and down)

Don't let men take all the blame........female hormones do funny things.....

"The point i am making in my OP is that women of ALL ages, not just "slip of a girl" have made obscure and bizarre choices."

Having spoken to Mrs Sqad she totally agrees with the above statement.......

A 15 year old girl having a crush is one thing (it'll be true love in her eyes) but for a 30 year old man to act on it, is quite another matter.
She's underage and he's old enough to know better.
He was in a position of trust. We shouldn't have to worry about sending our daughters to school.
They are both old enough to know better. They are both selfish and irresponsible.
You think, WBM? She's 15, hormonal, and easily manipulated.

There will always be a stigma with age gaps like this. If she was 20 and him 35 no one would bat an eyelid.

We have ALL done things in our life which in retrospect...." we should have known better."..................haven't we?......well I certainly have.
Yes, Sqad....but not with teachers!!
You're right sqad. ummmm, being 15 does not always switch off the brain. She is still old enough to know what she is doing.
Question Author
Teachers?...the have the same body chemistry as "non teachers"....don't they?
He doesn't have the morals to continue to be a teacher imo.
I agree...but he was in a position of trust. She's ran away with him. No 15 year old would decide to do that if they had any life experience.
Question Author
WBM....in my opinion, these "15year old slip of girls" know exactly what they are doing.

I am not condoning it.....just pointing out that it is a human failing.....which we ALL have.
Question Author
ummmm....I disagree......if you think that we benefit by a lifespan in decision making, then that argument is fraught with adverse examples.
It's a human failing that he should have resisted.

There has been an on going investigation for several months!!! Wouldn't have happened with my daughter.
Question Author
alba.......that is a different point......one that i am not making.
Quite right sqad. I agree with you to the full.
The teacher is out of order, but it takes two to tango.
Okay, so what if this man had been a Doctor, sqad, and run off with a 15-year-old patient?

He's abused his position of trust. She probably knows she's doing wrong, but like Alba says, probably thinks he's the love of her life.

He's the adult here...the adult blame lies with him.
The school is partly at fault for not acting as soon as the issue came to their attention.
At 15, she is not a woman, she is a school girl with a crush, as a grown man in a position of trust he should have been the Adult and sent her attentions on their way.
He knew she was 15, she did not portray herself as an 18 year old to dupe him.

If he'd been a doctor and run off with a 15 year old patient, surely he would have been struck off.
(Or if the sexes were reversed, it's still a position of trust which has been abused)
