That is great carakeel, can't wait to see a picture of the wolfies.

Carakeel, that's beautiful. xxx

nice drawing, I am a little concerned at the different angle of the building in the background to that of the front, the front is head on so to speak and the rear building faces south westerly if you know what I mean..

Like the understated foliage. I would love to see what you might make of the vernacular architecture of the Lake District with your accomplished technique.

Carakeel. That is fantastic. Thank goodness you`ve been inspired to start again.
You know the way Chris Packham rubs his thighs when something is just right? Well I have my tummy tingle. When I am making or creating something I know it`s good when my tummy tingle tells me. If I`m flat it`s back to the drawing board. Your eye made the tummy tingle! Wonderful and please keep posting. x |

Rubs his thighs... OMG.
Sorry DTc i transgress x |

Wow, I am gobsmacked ... tummy tingles and thigh rubbing ... I am liking this a lot! ... rolf! Love you lot!I don't have space to do any oil paintings at the moment as I only use fairly large canvasses, so finding this alternative is so much fun! Thanks so much for your support! Hugs!

To be totally honest the photo of the eye drawing just doesn't do it justice, it actually looks far more natural seeing it on the paper, it really amazed me and it was Carakeels first attempt.

(lol, blush!) Thanks my darling! xxx

Hi Ratter. Think DT has said something similar in the past about his drawings when shown here and yet they still look so amazing, like Carakeels eye.
I`m serious about the feeling you get when you see something special and for all my Packham jesting, he does the thigh rubbing for the same reason as I get the tummy tingle. |

Carakeel - that is an amazing eye, very realistic and clear. Go and create something - lots of somethings that you can sell on Ebay.

Excellent Carakeel and well done for making the plunge - though the photograph can distort, I have found it useful to pick up on flaws! in life drawing, get the eyes and the nose right and the rest follows.
As to Cazz's comment, well done you are correct - bear in mind that there is a slight angle on the front porch (take the roof bottoms and you will see it) - and then the bottom is also naturally distorted as the path runs upwards as you go left to right (which I have yet to convey ) - also the main body of the Church is much, much older (13thC - I think with the rocks coming up fromPerranporth some 3 miles away) and the porch a George III add on. |

As to seadogg's comments, I am originally from the Lakes but got nothing of my old drawings here! I know what you mean though......I have just remembered I have one in my maters of "Side Howe" near Staveley, framed, and I can see if that lends itself to a pic - I did it when I was about 20!

The photo is also distorting it as the pic was taken from above at a slight angle, Cazz, just look at the rectangular shape of the pad, or rather the distortion of it......

Fabulous as always, DT. Absolutely love your work. :)
