I have nearly every book he wrote and think Needful Things is one of the good ones. He did write some very bad ones but this isn't one.
enjoyed needful things and most of his others but he has written some rubbish as well

thanx, its in the post, cost me all of a 1p, plus p&p from amazon.co.uk
You def got a bargain as I have read it also and it is one of his better ones :o)
Do you mind me asking what your favourite Stephen King book is? I remember reading my older sister's copy of Christine when I was a lot younger and being terrrifed!
NT is an excellent book.

ilipk - his best is 'Salem's Lot' - I read it on a holiday on my own, and the night I finished it, I slept with the light on - and I was twenty-four at the time!
My equal favourites are the Dead Zone and From a Buick 8. I enjoyed Needful Things but in my humble opinion all of his books are so much better than the films made based on them. Something seems to get lost in the films, the menace, the true spookiness of the books never seems to be recaptured for the films.
I'm currently in a Stephen King phase myself. I've recently finished 'Desperation' which I believe to be one of his better ones. Now I'm almost three quarters of the way through his second book (The Drawing Of The Three) in his 'Dark Tower' series.
