A long time ago in the 70s I think I read a paperback novel about the story of a young man in America who joined the US Navy. The story is about his life and loves while serving. The front cover pic was of a forearm with a tatoo of a dagger. Would love to get hold of this novel. But cant remeber the title or the author, can anyone help.
