Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Glad you found it, Tilly2! It looks exciting and I'll have a go at it later.
I attempted the May puzzle and the "Sony" devilry clue-writing that I found quite interesting. Let me know how you fare.

Matakari, how did you get on with this one? It looked incredibly daunting. I know you attempted the May one, that was hard enough!

Yeah, this one really looks like a Herculean task! Got a few, but am not even sure about them.I've put it down to attempt this week's special Spectator by Fieldfare. While the theme seems pretty straightforward, the clues look tricky!

Thanks, Matakari. I wondered if it might be a case of 'horses for courses', with some puzzles suiting you, being more do-able, than others. Fieldfare's clues are nowhere near as tricky as they look. Remind yourself that you have managed them before (and probably quite often over the years).
