took delivery of mine last week and have a couple of questions.
is there a way of reading a synopsis of a book you've downloaded, much like the bit on the back of a paperback?
is there a way of archiving books you read (putting them in a folder or something) so you don't end up trawling through all the downloaded books you've read to find a new one?
thanks.

"Your Kindle's home page lists your downloaded books. When you purchase a new book from Amazon, it appears at the top of the list. After you open a book to read it, the Kindle moves it to the top of the list. If you need to remove content from your Kindle, press the "Next Page" button from the menu if you want to remove books you've had for awhile. Don't worry about deleting titles. Even if you remove them from the device, you still have rights to them and download them again later."

I dont think you can read the blurb oce purchased but you can read it before you buy and you can download the blurb for free. If you already have the book go to the kindle page on amazon bring the book up and read the blurb from there. Why would you buy a book without reading the blurb first?

i wouldn't buy a book without reading the blurb first maclarencat, it's when you download a load of books (i bought 17 last week) and then forget what the blurb said. much like when you (or rather me) buy a load of paperback books and then want to read one so turn to the back to refresh the memory. i know you can find out on your computer, i was asking the question as to whether or not you can on the kindle itself. for example, lying in bed last night, finished a book and couldn't remember what the other 16 i've downloaded were about, would have been handy to press a button to find out.
thanks for that link rojash, very informative.
