Why is there not a facility to delete or even star out the masked F word?

I'm fully aware that there's many folk who will be able to get round it, and you can't possibly delete them all but surely the F word, mispelled to say the same as a popular clothes company should be one of them?

And yes, I know that some folk will say that it's only swearing if we read it as such- but no one is naive enough to believe they were added into posts to be read as anything other than profanity.

As a family forum, which this is supposed to be- isn't this something that should be looked into?

Agree craft- hello by the way, but surely the obvious such as the one you quoted and the one I mentioned could be starred out?

Not much to ask is it?
They could just star out all of every post from that user :)

hello Boo ...(have just run back from corner shop and wish I hadn't).......................I just think that if people do find swearing offensive they'll be very disappointed on here. I am guilty of swearing quite a bit so am not offended by others.....
(Apparently I'm not the only one who likes doing this...Lucky you).

As usual im portrayed as having no sense of humour just because i object to swear words on what should be a family forum.

I imagine most of us swear in every day life, me included (like a trooper occasionaly too!), but I've very rarely felt the need to do so on here. Yep i've occasionaly muttered the one or two out loud, but if it ever gets to the stage where the site and some of it's users have upset me to the degree I need to swear in type- then it's time to log off.

Legend- as for having a go at MWB, not in the slightest, true it's her post that has prompted this one- but I'd have made this post no matter who used the F word.

As for you giving a flying fart Legend- i'm afraid that's irrelevant to me.

The hint?

I really don't want to get into a slanging match here, this post is my opinion and as such- valid.

However....

A hint from two users who I really don't think much of is hardly worth taking any notice of by me.

And yes...i'm stubborn.
