Why do you bother with these Blogs?

You continuesly promise us that you're "on the ball" and sorting out the nastiness and aliases on here via your blogs, then we hear nothing from you for weeks and weeks, until we read another blog telling us exactly the same thing again!

The majority of us understand you've been ill (recovering well i hope?) but you're honestly telling us that no-one, i mean no-one was supposed to be editing the site whilst you were away? Seriously?

When you returned- we all expected the site to improve- afterall you said you'd fix it- it hasn't, if anything, it's worse.

I fully expect this thread to be pulled by you, or whoever, but I'm really saddened to see a site i like, and been loyal to for a few years degenerate into the laughing stock it's become. The site generates new users everyday- you're happy for them to see how some of the users abuse it, especially CB?

I could email you all this, however despite your further promises that you do respond to emails, I've yet to recieve even one email back from you regarding this issue- even though I've sent you at least 3 now.

I'm sure i'm not on my own in wanting to know that you do care about the site, afterall, it's what you're paid to do isn't it?

agree 1000% per cent boo, I dont want to get on the EDs back about this especially as she is recovering from illness, but surely can she not get someone to help her with the workload? employ some moderators even?

Im not happy with the continual promises of change then nothing, then more promises. we are losing some really good members as a result.

messing with the programming, the cloning,the underlining/bold, the arguments, the abuse is at a new level. ED can you not at least post a message to tell us what you are doing or if you are there??

its not just about ignoring the troll posts, what about the smart @rse who thinks its clever to ruin posts with the sql error? if people ignore them they resort to wiping peoples posts.

this is something that users alone cannot remedy, its time for the ED to step up to the plate here

For once boo I am in total agreement with you as well but I am getting to the stage off thinking now well if you cant beat em then join em.

Yes, some of the dopey sods may try and get their kicks in other parts of the site, but generally they lose momentum, and their audience and eventually their inane anti-social interests to another site in the internet ether.

I don�t even �get� how what is being done has:

a) any humourous merit, it�s just dull, repetitive and tedious
b) any interest, again dull and repetitive
c) conducive to an informative and intelligent Q&A site

Its just �.predictable and sad.

AB Ed, I have written to you on this issue also with no reply. I would urge every one of you here to continually use the report function as sensible and appropriate as it would appear to be the only voice genuine users are afforded.
