e-mail notifications

Following on from a previous post (or is that rant), 6 or 7 lines down it might be a usefull thing to have a box to select ''recieve notifications Y/N'' when a question is first posted. for those who want to discuss something without getting a load of e-mail on something shall we say HOT.

you already can, can't you? I don't know if it appears before the first answer arrives, but there's a 'Got an Answer?' panel top right with your question that enables you to switch the emails off.

just checked again and it's definitely there on any of my questions - actual top right is a little pricerunner ad, but it's just below that. That's on Internet Explorer, maybe other browsers show something different?

doesn't subscribe to question alert you by e-mail
