Shardlake

For fans of the CJ Sansom novels Dissolution comes to Disney+ next Wed May 1st.

They have of course mucked about with it: Jack Barak appears in it one book too early and Shardlake isn't a hunchback - more understandably

Really!?!

A lot of the narrative of the entire series is based on the fact that Shardlake is a hunchback.

Mind you, the Disneyfication of many things is deeply annoying. I am rather glad I don't subscribe to that particular platform.

It's just a shame that no other film company will now be able to take the stories and make an exciting and interesting series. 😞
