Hi Pixie, I'm just on a break from AB at the moment -- at least posting, although I'm still looking into what others are saying from time to time. Glad to see that you (and a few others) have noticed my absence!

I posted in v-e's thread because I could hardly not pay my respects to a long-standing and much-to-be-missed member of AB, and I'm posting here to say thanks to you for commenting on my absence, but apart from that I'll be on a break for a while longer yet I expect.

bednobs - he was pretty unpleasant to me, too.
He accused me of being the reason he left AB some while ago (without giving me any idea of who he had been or what I had said) and he was sneering, scathing and pompous in equal measure.
I don't recognise the ABer being lauded elsewhere but wouldn't be crass enough to post the above on a thread meant for condolences.
