AB now appears to update its Gravatar requests at the top of the hour, so all that can't should see the new avatar after 8pm.

But I think naomi24 is saying that the avatar that appears on Ab seems to be a random one- i.e. not one she has ever set up on Gravatar.
I assume Naomi24 only has the picture of 1920s woman with a custard pie on Gravatar

This is a new phenomenon - Surely nobody can get into our Gravatar accounts to change avatars without our knowledge?

Naomi - could this be an inside job - someone close to you, who knows your passwords and has given you an early Christmas present?

Naomi needs to go on Gravatar and see whether someone has set up a praying woman picture on there. If not then Gravatar must have sent someone else's avatar to AB or there must be a gremlin at AB's end

It seems someone can Venator. As far as I'm aware nobody knows my passwords. I have three avatars - and none of them is this girl praying. If this is an intrusion, it's horrible.

It can't be that, naomi24. if someone had hacked into your Gravatar account and put the Praying Girl picture on you'd be able to see it on Gravatar. If you've checked and it's not on there then I doubt anyone has been into your account-the problem must be as I said in an earlier post. Your profile shows the correct avatar so I think the problem of the wrong avatar appearing on threads must be within AB
