How have your Mondays been?

I had a crap night sleep so woke up in a doubly crap mood. Got into to work to find not one, not two but three men in my office and I hate it when they are in the office in the morning, espcially on a Monday. Spent the morning trying to work out an insurance claim after a van accident as we have a billion companies claiming they are working for our insurers then spent the afternoon harrassing people to pay their invoices while being harrassed for not paying ours. Since then I have had a row with the ex and have felt like killing my Dad no less than 9 times. So, it's been about a standard Monday.

Feel free to either moan as much as me or gloat about how wonderful your day was. x

Spent the day slobbing on the sofa after coming back from my weekend in Wales, My God I did some walking, in fact so much i've pulled a muscle in my thigh.

Tomorrow I've got my grandson for the day, so that'll be another fun but knackering day.

I hate Mondays anyway so having been woken up twice in the night by the cats I was more moody than usual. I was nagged by work colleagues to donate to Children in Need last week, today it was the Movember tin being forced under my nose. I mean, I'm not made of money!

Prudie, I know what you mean. There does some to be one fundraiser after another recently. I'm very picky about who I donate to now or I'd be skint as well as grumpy.

One of the finest concerts I ever saw, Evian, was the Crusaders at the R.Festival Hall. A little sterile to the interval, it must be said, but then afterwards they brought B.B.King on and then you had this wonderful, wonderful guitar playing with, probably, the world's finest backing group.

Did you ever hear Eric Clapton with Dire Straits at the Band Aid - almost in the same league....

Had a good day, supervised an erection this morning (bought daughter a new shed for Christmas!), then one or two jobs in town before meeting a couple of ex colleagues for coffee. Neighbour and best friend round for dinner, excuse to open a bottle of wine. And to end the evening, Gareth Malone on the TV at 9pm.

DT, I went on a date to a jazz bar years ago and the best thing about the date was the fact I could at least enjoy the music I was listening to. I certainly can't claim to know much about jazz and blues, etc but I've opened my ears up a little bit since then. Although I do think it's so much better hearing that sort of music live.

Well, sorry to put a downer on things but my day was spent deciding that my struggle to keep my head above water is over. I decided to make myself bankrupt.
