my female parakeet sky has been acting very weird lately. shes in the cage with sunshine a male parakeet and we put in a nest box about 3 weeks ago.but when we took her to the vet she said that sky wasnt in mating season. but latley she been in and out of the nest sometimes for about 30min. and now its full of feathers but no eggs.i have notice she has significantly grown in size and is a little irratable with the male.but she still sleeps on her perches at night.so is she about to lay her eggs?
