I remember it came on TV in the 90's and Merlin was in it. Thats all I remember oh and he hides the moon in it or something like that. And there's a lady who's face is burned or something so all the mirrors weer taken off the island so she couldn't see herself. Does anyone know what i'm on about? I want to watch it again

If it was the one with Sam Neill as Merlin, it's called 'Merlin 'and was released in 1998. My daughter appeared in it as Guinevere's (Lena Headey) lady in waiting.Helena Bonham Carter played Morgan Le Faye the character you have described.
