Question Author
Sorry mazie but it's one person one vote.
sorry tony...rushing again...What I meant was.... I thought we could only pick from 3... Red kite, puffin or robin....

I see what you mean, mazie. Theres 10 I believe.
Yes, just had a look at LiK's link..... Sticking with the Robin
Kingfisher for me.
I do, Mazie.....my favourite garden watching bird.....just fantastic...but I know a pretty bird will win....though the hen harrier is beautiful.....peep at it please, even if you don't vote for it.

Some years ago the daughter and I were driving in Norfolk.....I did the best emergency stop ever.
Look into that field....I told her.....you'll see a hen harrier and a marsh harrier together.....remember it because I doubt you'll ever see that again and your children certainly won't..... :-(
If Ed or Auntie are looking in, perhaps they could "sticky" this at the top of "Animals & Nature"?

Let's face it, this could be the most important vote we cast for a long time!
I almost went for the Kingfisher as we have a pair here - always a privilege to see them , but went for something intrinsically British.

Yes , a sticky is warranted.

Voted.
How do you feel about putting the photo up again for us to see gness?

I'll have another look at the Harrier too, but my little gardening friend wouldn't be very happy if I voted for another bird :o)
Voted. I would have liked to have seen a peregrine though, not just because they are the symbol of the county where I live. I really like all of the hawks and falcons they really are beautiful birds
a good European bird, the robin. They come here, they take our worms...
My starlings (for mazie) :
