Night jars

A good showing of nightjars in Clumber park last night, it started with a churring about 10 o'clock followed by a display of several birds. Well worth watching.

Sounds lovely - I haven't seen or heard any so far this year, need to visit the New Forest which is nice and handy for me. I love them, there is nothing like the churring noise they make and to see one is wonderful - they aren't that easy to spot
