It's back tonight on BBC2 at 8pm. Compulsive viewing.
Take a look at the 4 live Webcams on the Link ! Excellent.
I think it's on for the next 3 weeks.

I enjoyed tonight programme very much, the land fill site was facinating, as was you know who in the stream.....................stay calm Rowen I think your hyperventilating :)
all the little wood warblers safely fledged, what a pity about the pied flycatchers and boy .. are those owllets on the tubby side !!
Question Author
Yes the Owlets are a Hoot, they eat like there's no tomorrow. I love watching them on the Webcams.
Wood Warblers have all fledged, lovely Birds.
morning springwatchers... Unsprung tonight...will need to dash to get home for the earlier start time... good programme last night... loved the watervole...and of course the boys in their bike leathers...
Question Author
Yes, Unsprung tonight so a good 90 min viewing altogether.
That refuse Tip in Essex has a good variety of Wildlife, it's wonderful to see Nature re-establishing itself on a refuse Tip.
Such a pity that it all ends this week as the series is too short really.
The last 2 weeks has been better.
shame they can't do odd specials during the year like the Easter and Christmas watch ones.... maybe the presenters could take turns with guests if it was hard to fit in their schedules
Question Author
A Springwatch Special once every couple of Months or so would go down well even with some Guest Presenters. It will always be a popular programme.
I fell asleep and missed the end ofthe programme and unsprung... thank heavens for I player....will catch up tonight..
Question Author
Missed the first few minutes myself last night as had fallen asleep but luckily woke up in time !
Sadly tonight's Prog is the last of present series, 12 Episodes is not long enough really and hopefully there will be Springwatch Specials before the Autumn.
Glad the Ed has kept this thread as a 'sticky' so that there can be feed back plus access to the WebCams !
Question Author
The single Buzzard Chick is close to fledging, Oyster catcher Eggs still not hatched but it will not be long. Those Owls in the Barn are doing great, all 4 of them, well rounded as well !!! lol
Bit windy at Ynis Hir today.
Is Bran, the ravan just the coolest, bird on T.V, he stole last night Unsprung!
Great last programme, but then "its not unusual"..........................cant wait for Autumn watch.
Question Author
Sadly it is the end of Springwatch for this series, another good last Programme.
Who will take Kate Humble's place for Autumnwatch I wonder ?
Hope there is something on TV before then however !
just more of martin .....
Question Author
Martin Hughes-Games Fan Club now closed until October ! but, but, back with a vengeance in the Autumn.
Anyone wishing to become Patron Saint can put forward their names here !! :-))
Question Author
Many thanks Ed for keeping this thread as a 'Sticky' for the duration of the series.
Hopefully we can have another one in the Autumn !
I missed the last two programmes. Is Kate Humble leaving the show?
All over !! ?? what a disappointment, not getting to see the owllets fledge and head on out ...and did the oystercatchers ever hatch the eggs ?? that's a real shame, I might have to do housework instead !!
Those owlets are onto a good thing....they might still be there in the autumn as they will be too fat to fly out of the barn.... Kate is just missing the Autumnwatch run...I think she might have another project on the go... Wonder if it is why they used a guest female presenter this series...to test the audience reaction? if so not sure if it would work...BBC stick with the boys please....and a bit more from Iolo would be nice too
Question Author
Anyone wishing to view the last 5 Episodes of Springwatch can do it from the Link below.
Not sure who will take over from Kate Humble on AutumnWatch as she must be away on another project.
Chris Packham and Martin Hughes-Games should be there which will please the Ladies !
I will miss the WebCams as I viewed them a lot.
