little hen rescue have 1000 battery hens arriving on the 19 feb all needing new homes

I stand corrected then, I'm pleased to hear that they can return to a normal life after being cooped up so to speak. The TV programme I saw showed birds in a bad way.

they are not called battery hens anymore because they now live in enrichment cages ! poor little devils

Battery Hens again!

Further to my previous thread, can anyone tell me (DC50 - you sound knowledgeable on this subject), is it ok to then keep battery hens with other chickens?
