i have:-
tinfoil barbs
tiger barbs
cichlids
pleco
cory

my brother makes the boilies and sells them but not sure if tropical fish can eat them

It all depends what he puts in them. Personally, I would stick to tested and proven foods for aquariums as they are so easily polluted.
