As you have realised, puppies respond well to a reward system of training. To start with sitting - say 'Sit' firmly to her, while pushing down on her haunches, until she sits. As soon as she sits, praise her, with lots of praise words, pats, and pets, scratch her ears, or what ever she enjoys. You will need to repeat this dozens of times, before she associates what the word 'sit' means, and that her obedience earns your praise. Limit training sessions to ten minutes, then giver her one treat, and let her play or what ever she wants. It takes patience, burt your dog will learn what your comands mean, and that being fussed, and given treats are a result of her compliance. With paw shaking, take her paw gently and say 'Shake' in a low firm voice, and shake her paw, then pet her. When she offers her paw, give her lavish praise, and again a teat at the end. It takes time and patience, but you will get there - this method can be extended to all training exercises, but remember, heavy on the prase, light on the chocs, and don't scold her if she's slow, this will only confuse her. Some days will be better than others, but you must be patient with her at all times, if it's not working, leave it, and come back another day. Good luck.
