Giraffes have the same number of bones in their necks as humans, so do all animals have seven bones in their necks?

I'm not sure about all, but certainly a good number. Phylogeny is based on skeletal variants, and the 7 neck bones, 5 toes motif is one of the larger phyla. It is eveidnec for common ancestry. I'd have to look it up but I have the feeling that sloths and monotrenes don't share this feature, and i think it is limited to mammalia.
