Do I need a pet passport for my dog to go to Jersey from UK by fast ferry?

Does anyone know how long fast ferry trip is and can you stay with them in car as I understand they have to stay in the car.

Thanks

If I read the information on the Condor website correctly, a pet passport is required for dogs travelling on all of their ferries. I recommend reading it for yourself and then phoning the number given on their website.

Dogs from Jersey regularly travel to compete at dog shows on the mainland and vice versa, they do not need a passport and to be honest they are best left in the car in a cage where they will sleep for most of the journey. Make sure they have had a chance to go to the toilet and that they have got water in the cage.

I recently took four dogs to Holland and they were fine for the overnight crossing.
