I have an 11 month old hand reared african grey and it bites. It bites myself if my mother or the dog come near me and intentionally bites others.
He also tends to bite if he can get his own way. He would be the perfect pet if he didnt bite
Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can stop him from biting as i am running out of options???

You have let the training get way out of hand. It should never have gotten to this stage. Pet parrots need just as much training to be a housepet as dogs do.

You now have to make biting things other than food an unpleasant experience for it. Make various potions with vile tasting stuff such as a bit peanut butter mixed with the same amount of mustard. Smear a bit over the stick or finger when you tell it to "step up" and the biting will soon subside. You have to keep it up with different tastes and object.

It is not going to be easy and you have to persevere. Any bad habit with any pet has to be nipped in the bud asap. The longer it goes on, the harder it is to quell the bad behaviour.
reward good behaviour...E.G talking, not biting ect ect
and punish bad behaviour...with my parrot and i assume most other parrots are like this he loves to come out and hates to go back in so when ever he bit me or any on ehe went straight back in his cage.
african greys are just like 2 year old children. they learn son enough.
