I think they're all starting their journey from here - round the outside of my living room window-frame. I keep watching them drop down and fly away, one after another, and another, and another....... Yeeeeuk!
And mine are all in Frome, nannon. (In Somerset too) It must be our turn!
Whopping great flying ants all over the place here in Aylesbury too.

Bit of fine weather must have triggered them off all over the country
None here yet...but I did have maggots in my wheelie bin this morning.

Roll on 2 weekly refuse collections :o(

Gots lots of the pesky critters here in Leicester too!
give them a asbo .
Flying ants are the reproductive makes & females. Mating takes place in the air & then the female then seeks out a nest where she stays for the winter laying eggs.

So basically ...they are all making whoopie. Dirty litle things!
Hmmm, i am hearing that 3 million of the flying ants have escaped from a government research center. Apparently they escpaed in some womens hair.
They are trained for certain tactics in warfare.
I am also hearing that they are aon a search and destroy mission. If you see them peeping in your window, look away as they have eye recognition programmed into them.
These are apparently in the bristol area in mass...
