I work on a golf course and we have two geese that come and nest every year, now normally they arnt much of a problem they nest on the otherside of the lake and stay away from the course.

However they are now nesting on the side that the course is on and we cannot cut the grass on the whole off the 4th hole. the male is extremly aggressive and he even goes for us when we are not on large machenary. He is chasing golfers and generally putting the entire 4th hole out of use.

Does anyone know of a company or organisation that we can call to get these charming birds re located as i am with the understanding that they cannot be shot?

Thankyou for reading

If it is not possible to set up a temporary fence to protect the 4th hole take a photo of the geese and sent it to a waterfowl site to identify the species. They will also advice on the right procedure to remove the offending poultry.

Thank you I know the species they are Canada Geese but i will contact a water fowl site to see if they can give me any options, fencing off the forth hole will not be an option.

Cheers for the answer
I believe that if they are nesting then you cannot by law disturb them- anyone who does is causing an offense under the Wildlife and Countryside Acr

I thought that, that may have been the case. Thankyou for you're answer I just hope the bloody things hatch soon. The father isnt so aggressive when they can all just retreat to the water.
