Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid, disprin is a the same thing but it is more easily solubalised. The reason this was done was to reduce gastric irritation caused by these forms of non steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDS). Disprins overall absorbancy rate compared to buffered aspirin is not that different, so speed of action is relatively unchanged. But as is common nowadays often the name is used for alternative active ingredients, for example in India there is a Disprin paracetamol and in Ireland there is both Disprin Paracetamol and Disprin Ibuprofen. As to you question 'Which' I presume you mean which is better to which the equally non informative answer would have been 'Either'

No, Jacob just meant which is cheaper? Ta though.
Generic buffered aspirin is cheaper as disprin is a brand name eg at sainsburys there own brand tablets are 21p for 16 soluble aspirin and 19p for 16 capsules of aspirin where as disprin is 1.75 for the same amount
