Minnows

How long do minnows live for?
I was told about a year, but I have one that's 3!

I think- though don't quote me on it- that it's 2/3 years.

My sister had a minnow called Stefan (this was the name of the german boy she had met whilst he was over here with his school) I think Stefan lived for about 2 and a bit years, she was devastated when he died!

Blimey, the things you remember! Stefan indeed.

My minnows are called Sanchez and Sanchez.

Sanchez is the older one ;-)

I had 3 that lived with my 2 goldfish quite happily for 18 months- then in one day the goldfish decided they'd make good 'snacks' and ate them :-(

I was devastated.

That just reminded me to find out how long shubunkins live because mine is 8 years old. They live for 25 years!!!
