Will it do any harm to feed my tropical fish with Goldfish food?
They seem ok after one week....

Yeah, will be ok. If you've no tropical flakes (which i'm presuming you haven't!) how about giving your fish a treat of a slice of cucumber weighted down? Mine go crazy for it. They also like a couple of peas that have been cooked and squeezed out of their skins.
It's ok in the short term...trop flake has more nutritional content than goldfish food.

It's like asking "would you feed your cat with dog food ?"....or visa versa.

Boo's other suggestions are good too....but remove any uneaten food after 24 hrs

I ran out of fish food and only have goldfish food till saturday:-/

I was told that it is ok to feed goldfish on tropical food but not the other way round.
my goldfish have had tropical food for 2 yrs are fine! x
