Perhaps you mean Rorquals which are a baleen whale (scientific name Balaenoptera). There are various types of baleen whales, including Fin Whale, Sei Whale, Bryde's Whale and Minke Whale. They have 25-100 parallel, pleated throat grooves that extend from the throat to the flippers. (Rorqual is Norwegian for furrow.) When these whales eat, these grooves expand, allowing them to take huge gulps of water, filtering out tiny organisms. They have long, sleek bodies and a small dorsal fin and are fast swimmers. The Minke Whale is the smallest of the rorqual whales, with an average length of about 8-9m (25-30 feet), weighing up to 10 tons. They are found throughout the world. The basic diet of the Minke is krill but they also eat fish as large as cod and haddock. They tend to be solitary animals.
