My cats haven't brought any snakes in yet, Wolfie. The best (worst?) that any of them has ever managed was when my darling Patches managed to get a massive (and still very much alive) herring gull, with a 4 foot wingspan, through the cat flap at 3am!

I would think that the noise may have woken you up :-)

Birds are more powerful than they look so she did well in catching it. Not sure how she squeezed it through the cat lap though!

The noise most definitely woke me up!

Trying to get a terrified herring gull out of one's living room at 3am, with Patches still determined that it was going to be an early breakfast for her, wasn't at all easy!
