I use Advocate on my cat every six weeks, back of neck, for fleas, also Milbemax every three months (what a palaver) for worms.. apparently there is something combined now, that I can use on the back of the neck (the lesser of two evils, at least I wouldn’t get my fingers bitten off). Would you recommend this 2 in 1 treatment, and what is it called? I could get a prescription from the vet and order online hopefully.

Smurf have a read of the attached and take their advice. It tells you all you need to know. When I had my two cats I found only Prescription medication worked and I did string it our for an extra week or so before starting the next lot and that did work for me. You might not be able to spread it out an extra few days if your cats are coming into contact with others which are infested with fleas. I used Advocate. Good luck.

Thanks ladybirder, the vet told me last time I was there, that there is now something combined, for both fleas and worms, to use on the back of the neck. Just wondered if anyone had knowledge of this.
OK sorry. I think that was what I used to do. A quick phone call to your vet in the morning will sort it smurfchops. Amazing user name BTW;-)
