be careful of the bones whatever you do.
Depending on the size, 40minutes to an hour.
JJ, there's only one bone in a while chicken thigh and it's easy to spot.
I agree with tilly - about 45-50 minutes once the soup is simmering - brown the thighs first with a bit of butter in the pan for a bit more flavour.

ok Tilly - I wouldn't know that as I wouldn't eat them but have heard they do make a nice stock.

You could of course cook the thighs in the microwave before adding to the soup
I ought to try actually cooking meals instead of heating up things from the supermarket.

I recently discovered that Buffalo wings are called this because of where they came from and not because someone had Buffalo-sized chicken.
