My daughter has found an unusual spider whilst undoing a computer box sent from China. Any help with identification would be appreciated. The spider is about thumb nail size with a cream body which has black spots on it. Its legs also have some orange on them.

Is it still alive?  I'm not sure If you are supposed to report foreign spiders in imported goods - a local vet or local newspaper may be able to tell you.  Local newspapers usually give big coverage whenever spiders turn up in supermarket fruit.

Is it possible that the spider could have crawled into the package in Europe?  Eliminate that possibility first by checking out the pictures of spiders of NW Europe on this excellent website:

Try taking it to your local zoo or even a petshop that specialises in arcachnids as they will then be able to care for it or if its dead dispose of it safely

i think u definitely need to report it to someone.  just dont have an idea who.
