OH and I shifted about 300 bricks from outside rebuilt conservatory along a long path to the drive. stacked them up neatly in a wall. still goy about 150 to go. they will be more difficult to move. they are on the patio and because of strange layout of property, they will have to be carried into conservatory, passedout of window on opposite side then carried onto drive.
We dont know how to dispose of them other than take them down to the tip.
it seems a shame as they are in quite good knick. has anyone any ideas what we can do with them?

Freecycle or Freegle, every area has one.
Lots of people offer such things on freecycle/freegle and always quickly taken in my experience.
Take them to a reclamation yard.
