Definitely was .
Clear skies here too, thank you.
It's overcast again here in West Yorkshire, hopefully it will clear before then.
Nice clear sky here at the moment.

All clouded over here now in LEics
Sorry to interrupt your thread - is there anywhere I can look up whether I will be able to see the ISS from the Isle of Man in May (17-24) please?

Got it for 2/3rds of the way across just now, then low cloud stopped play
Clear skies here in the North West, great view, Thanks Wendilla!
I went out to see this tonight for the first time. Wow it was SO clear. Please explain to me what it is exactly. Also, when you say 1st sighting 9.50 and 2nd sighting 11.26, this surely doesn't mean it's gone round the earth in that time, so where does it go? Thanks Wendilla, it is quite exciting to see even though I'm not normally interested in such things.
Look here to see where it currently is (just off the coast of Australia at the mo):

... in answer to your question, yea it will have gone round the earth when you can briefly see it again at 11.26pm.
Wow. Just wow.
Just caught it again, fascinating!

I think I might have seen it, does it look like a star with a small one attached and a little bit orange?
No, it's like a star, but it doesn't twinkle and moves steadily across the sky. Not all the way across, it gets fainter then disappears.

It'll be the only non-flashing star going from horizon to horizon in the direction and time given by wendilla
