Was talking to my nephew last night, and told him in the Three Crowns Peroni was £4 20, he then informed me in the posers pub ,the Farras arms it was a fiver, and this is in one of most deprived areas
Weatherspoons standard bitter, Raymonts is £1.80 a pint in all their pubs as far as I know , I have been in 3 in the last month and it as the same in all 3.
Wetherspoon's pubs charge different prices, for the same beers, across the country.
For example, their guest real ales are £1.89 per pint in cheaper areas, £1.99 across many areas but £2.29 in more affluent areas.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a premium lager, which always attracts premium prices. The draught premium lagers in Wetherspoon's three pubs in Ipswich (which, to the best of my knowledge, don't include Peroni Nastro Azzurro) are charged at £2.89 per pint.
Eddie might well be able to find (relatively) cheap prices around where he lives (Herts) but I know that he also, like me, sometimes drinks in Cambridge, where most pubs charge around £3.40 for a pint of basic real ale and where premium lagers are generally well above £4 per pint.
