It's just cost us a whopping £56 for flea and worm stuff for our small dog and even smaller cat!
Ok I choose to have Advocate for the dog because that works well for us, that was £22 for 4-10kg dog, 3 pipettes.
The frontline for cat was I guess a good price, 6 pack plus 2 pipettes free for £28.
One milbemax tablet £5.84!
Can anyone recommend a tried and tested online supplier, I realise that Advocate is only available with prescription, so the cost of getting that from the vet would have to be taken into account, ta!

Thanks Kawakiri, had a quick look, the cat wormer is lots cheaper but the Advocate is probably around the same price once I've factored in the cost of the prescription.
Don't think this is going to be easy, already checked out a few websites, but any input more than welcome.
It's worth remembering that pharmacists can (and often do) sell products like Frontline (usually cheaper than vets do). For example I know that Asda pharmacies sell it, and I've seen promotions offering it at reasonable prices in Co-op pharmacies.

Worth a look, perhaps?

Take a look at Viovets, and MrPets

http://www.viovet.co.uk/ Advocate for 4-10kilo-13.98, 1 milbemax-3.59

http://www.mrpets.co.uk/ 6 pack Frontline for 18.85

I think you paid too much.
I use Vet Medic Pharmacy and Canine Chemist (known as Hyperdrug).
I used to get my dog's pills from http://www.animeddirect.co.uk/ they seem very good and my pills usually came within 2 days.

Thanks so much for all the info, will be checking out all your suggestions.
The Advocate is a tricky one, our vet charges around £7 for a prescription, but the others seem to be better value online.
